It’s a boy! After nine months of waiting in anticipation as to what the sex of the child will be, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge yesterday welcomed their new born son, with big brands and the rest of the world celebrating his arrival. This royal baby mania has baffled and intrigued me all the same. From ASDA’s creation of a dedicated ‘baby-friendly’ parking space for Wills and Kate at their Llangefni store to Swizzles Matlow’s ‘Royal Baby’ edition of Love Hearts.
Whether or not you’re interested in the royal baby frenzy, you can’t get away from it. I’ve shortlisted my favourite examples of companies and brands cashing in on the occasion.
