Refreshing a tired brand to reflect a strong product and heritage
Farmers Fayre is a premium farm shop chain, a wholesaler, caterer and delivery service providing quality assured traditional farm fresh and locally sourced produce. With established relationships with farmers and growers, it provides customers with quality local foods and a unique knowledge of where the produce comes from.
The brief
To grow! To show clear separation from the offerings of the large supermarkets and achieve a point of difference which brings about higher yield for Farmers Fayre and its producers.
The situation
A dwindling customer base, but still one committed to better quality local produce, a brand which didn't reflect the quality of its products or market position.
The solution
Paying respect to the established name, we looked to re-identify with the brand and create a simple, rustic re-imagining that was more reflective of quality. The new brand identity was then applied to both stores and marketing, including websites, to project its values throughout the business.
Farmers Fayre is now enjoying its identity and it represents the organisation well. The company has kept profits high this year and has benefited from a massive 400% growth in online sales.
